Illustrator Tutorial

This isn't the same object for the tutorial. I was having a little bit of trouble rounding the edges for the vase - or couldn't really figure out how. But i did make this. I am going to attempt the vase and will post it later... but this was fun. The 3D effect is really cool.

Here is another attempt... I still couldn't get the edges to round, but I like the subtle Japanese symbol.

I took a lot of inspiration from our studio final by incorporating the bamboo. These projects are fun, I just wish I had more time - you can really get carried away....

Photoshop Tutorial

This tutorial was about make things have a fiery look. The tutorial was used with an eye, but I think the rose works well. About 4 layers were used. Twirl, glowing edges, and rough pastels are just a few of the filters that were used.

Assignment 6: Bath house day/night

Assignment 6: Bath house

My bathing room is very simple. The location is Japan, so simplicity is key. This is the men's bathing room, where the women would be located on the other side of the bamboo wall. The window at the end looks out onto a garden. I went for a very natural feeling.
